Event Recording: Building a Life, Not Just a Practice

US$35.00

Online Video Training presented by Vanessa Flores, LCSW-S, CDWF

Recorded Live on 2/12/21

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

As therapists, we often think about our work in one way; seeing clients individually for therapy.

While this is the core of what we do, there is so much more we can offer if we give ourselves the time and space to create it. So, the questions become —

“How do I build a schedule that supports the life I want to live as a therapist in private practice?”
“How do I make this work sustainable for me?”
“How do I manage feelings of burnout?”
“How do I make space to craft offerings that bring me joy and promote healing outside of traditional 1:1 therapy services?”

This workshop is designed to guide therapists in private practice or group practice on how to take ownership over your schedule so that you can prioritize your well being while making space to pursue passion projects and other opportunities that may come your way. This workshop is about building a life that is sustainable, profitable and values aligned.

As someone who runs multiple businesses, is a full time mom and sees clients, I’ve learned some hard truths about the importance of time management and how to make systems work for you in an effort to create balance.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to build your ideal schedule, organize your time as it relates to the different moving parts of your work and engage in some priority planning for the year ahead. We’ll even run some numbers to get you excited about what is possible when you think about your revenue streams.

What you give attention to, grows. If you ever wondered whether or not it’s possible to retire doing this work, the answer is yes. However, it requires that you get creative and invest time into figuring out how you will make that dream a reality. Let’s get to dreaming and planning!
